NANISIVIK NAVAL FACILITY

Nanisivik Naval Facility, Baffin Island, Nanavut

The facility is connected to the town of Arctic Bay by a 40KM road and its airport. Personnel and supplies can be flown in to better support our Arctic Patrol Ships, Kingston Class, Halifax Class, Victoria Class and future fleet including the CSC. The facility boasts two 3.75-million-litre fuel tanks that will be fueled at the start of the ice free season. More importantly the facility has the potential to be expanded.
