Webmaster's note: The ship's badge shown on the left side of the page above is not that of HMCS Saint John K456. This badge was developed for the tug HMCS St. John which was under construction. However after the war ended, the RCN underwent a re-organization, the tug became a CNAV (Canadian Naval Auxiliary Vessel), later CFAVs(Canadian Forces Auxiliary Vessel) and the badge, though designed and approved, was never actually used by the tug as she was not commissioned in the RCN. The badge used by HMCS Saint John K456 is found on page 24 of this book (photo file name HSJ0025)
