Acquired by the RCN: 

Fate: Returned to her pre-war owners in 1946. Final disposition unknown.

 

Valinda was acquired by the RCN keeping her original name. In Apr 1942, she was listed as HC103, Examination vessel. She was also listed as a Store Boat BNSO at St. John's Nfld. She was returned to her owners in 1946.
