Removed from Service: 1946

Fate: Sank 19 Oct 1976 - declared total loss.

 

MAXWELLTON was a Norton class tug built for the RCN and served from 1944 to 1946. She was sold in 1946 to Price Navigation and was moved to Lac St-Jean, QC and re-named Hugh Jones. In 1973 she was sold to the Trois Rivieres Boatman and moved to the Saguenay River.  She sank on 19 Oct 1976 and was declared a total loss.
