Paid off: 23 Aug 1957

Transferred to Turkish Navy: 31 Mar 1958

Re-commissioned: 31 Mar 1958

Paid off: 1991

Fate: Broken up 2002 at Aliaga, Turkey

 

Built by the Davie Shipbuilding Co., Lauzon,UNGAVA was commissioned on 04 Jun 1954, and paid off on 23 Aug 1957. She was transferred on 31 Mar 1958 and renamed TCG Tekirdag. The ship remained in service until 1991. Tekirdag was broken up for scrap at Aliaga, Turkey in 2002.
