Launched: 23 Jun 1944

Commissioned: 11 Nov 1944 as HMCS VICTORIAVILLE

Paid off: 17 Nov 1945

Re-commissioned: 25 Sep 1959 as HMCS VICTORIAVILLE

Re-named: HMCS GRANBY 21 Dec 1966

Reclassified: as a Diving Tender 21 Dec 1966

Paid off: 31 Dec 1973

Fate: Sold for scrap in 1974

 

HMCS GRANBY (2nd of Name) was the former HMCS VICTORIAVILLE.  On 21 Dec 1966, she assumed the name and duties of the retiring diving tender GRANBY.  She was paid off 31 Dec 1973, and sold for scrap the following year.
