Fishermen's Reserve Vessel
Valdes was built in 1928 by J. Arimoto Shipyard, Nanaimo, BC. She was requisitioned for use in the Fishermen's Reserve in Jan 1942 with ownership transferred to the crown in Sep 1942. She was taken out of service in Sep 1944 and later sold to John C. Horan of Vancouver, BC.
