KERR, Patrick Francis (Pat) - “Death leaves a heartache none can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.” - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Francis Kerr, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at St. Catharines Marotta Family Hospital, with his wife, Betty, at his side. Born on May 10, 1938, in Fort Frances, Ontario, the son of Corbetta and Adam Kerr, he spent 20 years in the armed forces and 15 years with Environment Canada. Pat was a man of many talents and enjoyed his hobbies, including gardening, hydroponics and painting as a wildlife artist. Pat and Betty loved to travel and spent many winters in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Betty, and children Patrick (Kathy) Kerr, Tina (Peter) Dala, and Steven (Katharine) Kerr; and three beautiful granddaughters: Mila (Evan) Hwang, Lillian and Ella Kerr; sisters, Maureen (Bill) Sabados and Karen; sister, Betty predeceased him. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by family and fondly remembered by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held in St. Catharines, Ontario, on November 21, 2026. Burial at a later date in Nova Scotia.
