John Jack Cornelius Culhane

Died: 08 Jun 2004, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada

 

CULHANE, John Jack Cornelius - Surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 passed peacefully at his residence, in St. Catharines. John Culhane at 67 years of age. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of John Aimee, Danny Susan and Cathy Michael Valentini. Cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren. John is survived by his sister Colleen and his brother Patrick Betty. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends. John retired from Ontario Paper after 34 years of employment. He was very active in St. Alfreds Parish volunteering with the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Out of the Cold Program and acting as alter server. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy for 5 years and was a member of the Port Dalhousie Legion Branch 350. John is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, until Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfreds Church at 12 noon. Cremation to follow. Vigil prayers for John will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m. Visiting hours are Thursday, 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial remembrances to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated the family.
