In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
BURNS, Robert Archibald - passed away on the morning of November 29th 2020 at the age of 84 after a short illness. Beloved husband of Theresa "Terry" for 63 years. Cherished father of Gary and his wife Darlene along with Brian and his wife Louise. He is survived by his older brother Ron. Bob was a proud grandfather to Jennifer, Pamela, Rebecca and Mary. Loving Great grandfather to Grace, Mitchell, Keira and Lane. Robert was a hardworking man who wore many hats over the years. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy for thirty years, ran the Wasaga Beach Koa with his wife for many happy years before finishing his working career with North American life insurance as a salesman. Bob and Terry spent the majority of their lives in Barrie Ontario with many wonderful friends before moving to Amherstburg to be closer to family in their golden years. He was a good and loving man who will be missed by all who knew him. As per Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. His ashes will be interred in early summer.
