In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
ELLIOTT, Michael - Nanaimo, B. C. - Mike passed away March 9, 2026 at the age of 76 with his loving wife of 57 years, Shauna, by his side. He served 27 years in the CAF (Navy) & after retiring worked at the Pro Shop at the Juan de Fuca golf course. He enjoyed golfing, and had many happy trips cruising, bus & car trips & rving. He was also contented being home together, doing our daily walk & home for a snack & Britbox!
He is also survived by his son Jeff (Jessica), daughter Krista, 6 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild. He loved them all very much. Sister-in-law Jo-Ann (Gord) and special friend Rosi were always there for us both. Also special nieces & nephews & relatives of Shauna's that he considered his own. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Hazel & Reg Elliott, relatives of Shauna's, & 2 best buddies Del & Serge, who can now teach him to fish!
Thank you to Dr Jorge Denegri, our wonderful family physician Dr.Paula Ochoa & the staff & Dr. at NRGH intensive care for taking such gentle care of him.
You were a wonderful husband, I couldn't have wished for better. I will miss holding your hand on our walks. I will love you more each day until we are together again....Shauna
