SHARPE, William Sydney (Buck) - of Belleville, entered into rest peacefully at his residence on Thursday January 22nd, 2009 in his 87th year. Dear son of the late Harry & Nina Sharpe. Beloved husband of the late Vera Marie Sharpe (nee-Knox). Predeceased by sister Margaret Quantrill (late Ted). Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law; Audrey Gainer (Richard) of Belleville, Joan Bradden (late John) of Ottawa and brother-in-law; John Summers of Belleville. Predeceased by sister-in-law Shirley Summers. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. With respect for Mr. Sharpe's wishes, cremation to take place. A memorial service will be held at the Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel, 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080) on Monday January 26th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. (with visitation from 1:30p.m.-2:00p.m.) Rev. Anne-Marie Jones officiating. Interment Belleville Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
