FLYNN, Brian - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Flynn at St Catharines Marotta Family Hospital on September 22, 2025, at the age of 77. Predeceased by his parents Jean and John Flynn, brothers Jack and Ken, and son Keith, Brian is survived by his partner in life for many years, Kathy Lentz, his daughter Karin, granddaughter Michelle Meyer (Josh), stepchildren Kristen Cousins, (Bradley) Kasey Lentz (Courtney) and step-grandchildren Felix, Roxanne, Jack, and Madison. He will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law Marguerite, nieces Joanne (Tyler), Diane (Ryan) and Kristine (Mike) great-nieces, great-nephews, and Brian’s beloved dog Nala was his constant companion.
Brian had a lifelong passion for golf, travel, and time spent with friends. He was very proud of his service with the Royal Canadian Navy, and enjoyed a successful career with Orkin. Brian was very proud of his Scottish heritage. He will be remembered for his humor, kindness, and loyalty. The family thanks Martin, Lars, and Gora for their support, the oncology staff at Marotta Hospital for their compassionate care and his friend Rich, who walked Nala for Brian every day, these past numerous difficult months. The family will receive friends at Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the Armstrong Chapel on Friday at 12:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
