John Bryans enlisted in the C.E.F during the First World War on 20 Sep 1915. He served in the 3rd Division Supply Column. He was discharged as Medically Unfit on 06 Apr 1916.
He served in the RCNVR at some point after the war but before the Second World War. He did not served during the Second World War.
BRYANS, John Elwood - Funeral service for John E. Bryans, 82, 745 Martin ave., who died Thursday in Academy Road annex hospital, will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. Burial will be in the military plot of Elmwood cemetery. Rev. E. E. Baskier, will officiate. (The Winnipeg Tribune 25 Oct 1946)
