Died: 17 Apr 2018, Victoria, British Columbia

 

CLARKE, Kenneth David Ashworth - 93 yrs of Victoria British Columbia passed peacefully on April 17, 2018 after a short illness. Ken was born in Liverpool England on February 24th, 1925 and immigrated to Victoria in 1930 growing up in James Bay. He proudly served his country in WWII and upon his return to Victoria, devoted 26 years as a foreman at Capital Iron. He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years Roberta, 8 children Craig, Randall, Elizabeth Wendy, Diana-Lynne Brenda, Ken, Sharron, and Roberta, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Ken was predeceased by his granddaughter Catherine Alexis, grandson Kenny and son-in-law Eddie. He was a long term member of the Trafalgar legion and the Juan de Fuca Seniors Centre. He will be lovingly remembered as a true gentleman with a heart of gold and a friend to everyone who entered his life. A celebration of life will be held at the Juan de Fuca Seniors Centre on Sunday April 29th, 2018 at 1:00 pm and everyone is welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Ken’s name.
