FREEMAN, Keith Ingram - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Keith. Born in North Vancouver on March 18, 1945, Keith passed away peacefully at his home in Victoria in the early morning hours of October 24, 2013. Keith served proudly in the Canadian Navy for 25 years. After his service with the Navy, he worked as Commissionaire until he retired in early 2013. A true "Old Salt", Keith would gladly share his tales of the sea with everyone and anyone who would listen. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Stacey (Kelby) and his adoring grandchildren Nathan and Laila, sisters Joan Scott, Millie Thompson and Kathleen Currie and brothers David, John, Ron, David and Philip as well as extended family and many friends. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Go in Peace dad, with "Fair Winds and Following Seas" (the Times Colonist 02 Nov 2013)
