BUCKNELL, A. Lloyd - formerly of Sheffield, ON, peacefully, at Granite Ridge Long Term Care Facility, Ottawa, on Monday, September 30, 2013, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Joyce Bucknell (nee Farmer), loving father of Taber and his wife Lisa, dear grandfather of grandson Kalen. Survived by sister Edwaena Cheales and predeceased by sister, Dorothy Girvan. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Lloyd served in the Royal Canadian Navy, then was a locomotive foreman for the CNR in Transcona, MB, then employed by Linde, Union Carbide and finally, served in the Corps of Commissionaires. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline) on Saturday, October, 12, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer Society, 1750 Russell Road, Suite 1742, Building 2 Perley Centre, Ottawa, ON, K1G 5Z6.
