DAVISON, Wilson Earl (Bud) - a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Saturday May 10, 2025, in the Queen Elizabeth 2 hospital in Halifax.

Born on July 14,1945, Bud lived a life filled with love, laughter and, and many cherished memories. His passing will leave and has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, and his legacy will forever be remembered.

Bud was pre deceased by parents Dorothy and Earl Davison and twin sisters Roberta “Polly” and Earlene “Dolly” Davison.

Bud was a devoted husband to Gale for almost 60 years which gave him a wonderful sister in law Sheila Colter and brother-in-law David (Claudette) Carroll. Bud took pride in being the fun loving Dad to his three children; Angela Davison, Margaret (P.J.) Hill (Brian) and Billy ( Kirsten) Davison. His family meant everything to him and becoming a grandparent was golden. He leaves behind grandson Gary (Andrea) Davison and grand daughters Caitlin, Amanda and Brittany Hill and Evangelena (Evie) Davison, and great grandchildren Brayden Hill, Liam Davison , Lucas Jackson, Bradley Jesso , Wilson Jesso, Mitchell Davison, Addison Parker and special niece Jane M Baker. Poppy Bud’s love and dedication to his family will be missed and cherished forever.

Bud enjoyed the simple things in life and making memories with family and sharing his wisdom with the next generations!

Bud started his married life as a stationary engineer/stoker in the Canadian Navy for seven years then he moved onto various trucking jobs which he very much enjoyed , then he hung up his trucking keys to take on a mechanical engineer position at the Grace Maternity/ Iwk where he worked for 26 years until his retirement and he made many life long friends.

At this time (by his wishes), there will be no formal service to honour Bud’s life. Instead, we ask that those who knew him and loved him, take a moment to reflect on the cherished memories you have and celebrate the impact he had on your life.

Wilson Earl Davison will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace now, surrounded by the love and memories he created during his lifetime!

The family would like to give special Thanks to the stroke and neurology unit of the QE2 (7.4) , especially Leslie (stroke nurse), as well as the doctors and all nurses and teams who made our stay manageable - the staff was second to none!

Thank you ALL!! (The Halifax Chronicle Herald 14 May 2025)
