A son of Starr Gordon Mader and Bessie Moore. Husband of Mildred Maxine (née Lowe) Mader. Eugene is buried in the Bayview Anglican Cemetery, Chester, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia.
Eugene's brother, Earl Mader, also served in the RCNVR.
