In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
GAUTHIER, John Kevin - Kevin passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021, at the age of 78.
A very friendly, humorous, happy, and beautifully-souled man, Kevin was born and raised in Prince Edward Island. He always had good things to say about his family and home there. He joined the Navy after graduating from secondary school.
After leaving the Navy he moved to Kelowna and started a family; never leaving unless a visit “home” was possible.
Being a Navy veteran he easily became involved with the Army, Navy, and Airforce Unit 376 in Kelowna. Kevin was a life member, ex-president, and volunteer at the A.N.A.F for many years. He could be found at the club almost every day socializing with many friends or participating in the Dart Leauge, Pool League, and winning Meat Draws.
Kevin is survived by his daughter Nicole (Ron); sisters Sharon & Anne; step-nephew Dustyn; step-niece Amanda; and his many extended family members.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Debra in 2015; his parents Richard Gauthier and Olive Pineau; and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will take place at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
