FRASER, Albert Ernest - 78, Upper Stewacke, formerly of Hatchet Lake, Halifax County, died March 27, 1993 in the Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Moser River, Halifax County, he was a son of the late John and Rose (Cobb) Fraser.
He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War, and was a plumber by trade, working for Steen Construction Ltd., retiring in 1980.
He is survived by his wife, the former Elsie Pearce; three sons, Paul, Hatchet Lake; Albert Jr. (Butch), Middle Stewiacke; Graham, Meadowville, Colchester County; two daughters, Patsy (Mrs. Jim Mackie), Lumby, B.C.; Carlotte Wilson, Vernon, B.C.; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Doug, Fairview; Ted, Sackville; three sisters, Maude Poole, Florida; Violet Rayner, Sackville; Lorraine Sullivan, Halifax.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda; two brothers, Art, Mac; two sisters, Alice Walker, Anne Perrier.
The
body is in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Halifax, where visiting
2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Tuesday, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday.
