Joyce was a remarkable woman who believed in the next generation and spent her life as a nurse, Cub Scout leader, book reviewer, a member of the PTA, various library boards, the CFUW, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to bring the wonderful world of art in all its forms to inspire others leaving the world a better place. The sky is now Joyce's canvas and when the clouds craft a picture in the sky it will be from Joyce's paint brush. Joyce was many things to many people, but most of all she was our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother we love her and will miss her every day. Godspeed. (The St. John's Telegram 15 Apr 2023)
