Died: 22 Mar 1992, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

 

CAHILL, Arthur Patrick - died Sunday in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Charlottetown, he was a son of the late Harry and Mary (McGuigan) Cahill. A Royal Canadian Navy veteran of the Second World War, he was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Butler Branch 44, Chester. He is survived by his wife, the former Grace Shatford; a sister, Helen Fortin, Belleville, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, William, Allen, Jack. The body is in Atlantic Funeral Home, Halifax, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Halifax, Rev. Raymond March officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. (The Halifax Chronicle-Herald, Tue, 24 Mar 1992)
