In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
DUFOE, Donald Melvin - passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday June 10, 2016 at the age of 76 yrs. Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee Morin). Loving father of Gordon and Jennifer. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughter Kendall Dufoe. Also survived by his sister Stella and brothers Ernie & Alvin. He was predeceased by his parents Irene (nee Leclaire) & Gordon Dufoe and his siblings Frank, Michael, Norman, Albert and Alverna. Don was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy and was a member of the West Ferris Legion Branch 599. After his discharge from the Navy Don worked as a head cook for the St. Joseph’s Motherhouse and the North Bay Jail. As per his wishes there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to Hillside Funeral Services. Donations in memory of Don to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family. (The BayToday 13 Jun 2016)
