A son of Hugh Allan Trann (1881-1952) and Annette (née Casey) Trann (1884-1965). Hugh and Annette were married in Brandon, Manitoba 15 Nov 1911.
Article from The Daily Herald, Prince Albert, Wed., April 28, 1954 - Mr. and Mrs. Baden Webb are pleased to announce the engagement of their only daughter, Joan Mary, to William Donald Trann, youngest son of Mrs. A. Trann and the late Mr. H. A. Trann. The Wedding will take place 19th May, 1954, at 2 p.m. at the Wesley United Church, Prince Albert.
Donald and Joan had one son, Bradley. Joan passed away 20 Mar 2010. Her obituary indicates the Donald predeceased her.
Donald's brother, James A. Trann, also served in the Navy during the Second World War.
