In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
Son of Abraham Bateman and Sarah Elizabeth Siddall, both born in England. Bramwell came to Canada about 1907, and had been living in B.C. for 15 years at the time of his death. He was married to Annie Catherine Smith at Calgary, Alberta, in 1911. He Volunteered in 1916 with the Royal Canadian Navy and served as Ordinary Seaman. While in Calgary Bramwell had worked as a letter carrier for Canada Post. He is mentioned in "Honouring Our Own", Canadian Postal Service.
