In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
CANNON, John Patrick - passed away after a long, productive and satisfying life surrounded by loving family and his dedicated caregivers, Glea and Leni. He was preceded by Anne (nee MACFarlane), his loving wife of 65 years. John was an RCN veteran of WWII. From a humble beginning in the mines of Cobalt and Kirkland Lake, he advanced to become a Mine Superintendent in Atikokan, ON., Princeton BC., and Lynn Lake, Man., and eventually a College Teacher at Seneca College in Toronto, ON. He was a dedicated family man and a good friend and mentor to many. He is survived by his daughters Janice Marzari (Louis), Elizabeth Aylesworth (Harold), Laura Bruley (Russell), and Kathryn Wall (David). Loving grandfather of Lawrence and Frank Marzari, Grant and James Aylesworth, Deborah Bruley, Grace Anne Post and Kathryn Bruley, Clare and Caitlin Wall. Great- grandfather of Emily and Rachel Marzari, Ethan and Evan Post, Angelica Marzari, and Fynn Smit. A celebration of John's life will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2012.
