O'DACRE, Basil J. - Veteran, Second World War. With sadness, the family announces the passing of Basil on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in his 94th year. Basil, beloved husband of the late Lucille. Son of the late Michael Thomas O'Dacre and Daisy Jane Powell. Dear brother of Dowdall John O'Dacre (Pembroke); Dorothy Smirle (Ottawa), and predeceased by Thomas; Michael; and Lois Dickson. Will be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill (4th traffic light north of Major Mackenzie Drive) from 8:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Immaculate Church.
