PENGELLY, Gordon Allan, Dr., MD, FCFP(C) - Lieutenant (Ret'd) RCNVR; Surgeon Ensign 78th Fraser's Highlanders. Born December 7, 1920. Died peacefully as the sun passed over the yard arm on March 20, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his adoring wife of 65 years, Dr. Bette Stephenson. Survived by his loving children and grandchildren: Stephen (Anne); Elizabeth Anne (Randall); Christopher (Elizabeth); Michael (Linda); Timothy (Joyce); Mary Katharine (Duane); Patrick, Andrew, Brynn, Robert, and Evan. Fondly remembered by his sister and brother, Blanche (Sansom) and James, and their families. Arrangements entrusted to R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, North York, ON. Visitation Saturday, March 23, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral on Sunday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m., preceded by visitation from 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
