MITCHELL, George William - WII Veteran RCN. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of George, at the age of 98, on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Loving husband of Kathleen, dear father of Judy (Art), Gale and Bill. He was the grandfather of 9 and the great-grandfather of 8. George had a lifelong career in the printing industry, retiring from Cooper and Beatty at 65 to enjoy the Florida sunshine. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated. (The Toronto Star 05 Jul 2016)
