In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
RICHARDS, John J. - Veteran WWII, RCNVR - Peacefully at Providence Healthcare on October 24, 2016, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 49 years to Joan Margaret Rainville. John was predeceased by his loving parents, Harold Joseph Richards and Mary Layton. He was a member of the Ontario Provincial Police, Ontario Fire Marshall and the Attorney General Department of Justice. For 28 years, John and Joan were snowbirds, and spent their winters in Venice, Florida. A private service was held. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. (The Toronto Star 29 Oct 2016)
