In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
George passed away Monday the 9th of December in Kelowna BC, at the age of 72. George attended and graduated from Macdonald High School in St. Anne de Bellevue Quebec. He was very involved Scouts as well as other activities as teen, he then joined the Canadian Navy in 1973 until 1976. George then ended up as an elevator mechanic until his retirement. He was very active with the Canadian Liberal Party and even ran in 2 elections as a liberal. He is survived by his wife Eleanor and his son Christian Nielson and daughter Laura Nielson and me his youngest brother. He was predeceased by our mom and dad Nick and Inger as well as our oldest brother Peter.
