NICKOL, William (Wally) - Following a year long battle with cancer, Bill passed away May 1, 2010, at the age of 87. He lived the last months of his life with courage and determination, taking great pleasure from precious moments with family and friends. Their last summer together was spent at their beloved trailer in Gimli, where he was very content, surrounded by wonderful, caring friends.
Heartfelt thank you to the following: Dr. Terry Babick, everyone at CancerCare Manitoba and to the Palliative Care Teams for their professional and personal care. But most of all to Mom, whose unconditional love and tireless care-giving enabled Dad to remain at home until a week before his passing, you are an inspiration to all of us.
