When Arthur James Manderson was born on January 7, 1920, in Myrtle Station, Ontario, Canada, his father, George, was 32 and his mother, Clara, was 32. He had two sons and two daughters with Helen May Sullivan. He died on January 24, 1993, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 73, and was buried in Groveside Cemetery, Whitby, Durham, Ontario.
