THERIAULT, Clarence Joseph - 69, of Meteghan Station, died March 29, 2010, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Elizée and Austine (Doucet) Theriault. He served in the Canadian Navy as a radio operator for over 19 years and later worked as a scaler at the Clare Municipal Landfill for about 15 years. He was an avid bridge player and loved to play the fiddle. Surviving are his loving Doreen Theriault, Meteghan Station; stepson, Paul (Suzanne) Comeau, Saulnierville; daughters, Christine (Jerry) Maillet, St. Albert, Alta., Donna (Vinny) Deveau, St. Alphonse; Darlene (Wesley) Muise, Centerville/Kentville; brothers, Gerald, Meteghan River; John, Saulnierville; Melbourne, St. Benoni; sister, Esther Deveau, La Villa Acadienne, Meteghan; grandchildren, Cory, Jennifer, Darcy Ashley Vanessa, Courtney Cremation has taken place under the direction of Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral 10 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Church, Saulnierville. Interment in the parish cemetery Donations may be made to Tri County Victorian Order of Nurses, Digby Branch.
