WALKER, Richard W. E. - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard W. E. Walker, age 65.

Richard lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love. He proudly served in the Canadian Navy for over 34 years, retiring in April 2012. He served on six naval ships during his dedicated career as a naval weapons technician.

In addition to his military service, Richard was deeply involved with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 91 in Langford, where he served as both the 1st and 2nd Vice-President. His commitment to his fellow Veterans and his community was evident in all he did.

Richard was a man of many passions. He was an avid model builder, a keen collector, and a master of the barbecue. His hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to connect with friends and family in meaningful ways.
