WYNN, Howard Allen - On February 11, 2011, Howard Wynn of Edmonton passed away at the age of 81 years. He was predeceased by his parents Max and Nellie Wynn; brother, Jim and sisters, Chloe Wynn and Lois MacLean. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jessie (nee Morton); daughter Susan (Bob) Deagle; son, David (Sandy); six grandchildren as well as his sisters Jean Craig and Doris McIlvride. Howard served in the Navy from May 1947 to November 1975 and held the rank of Lieutenant/Commander at the time of his discharge. He worked for the City of Edmonton as the Purchasing and Inventory Manager and then the Chief of Warehousing for Supply & Services Canada. His final employment was as House Director for the Jellinek Society. Howard was also a friend of Bill Wilson for 53 years. A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Baptist Church, 11908 - 132 Avenue on Thursday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. In Howard's memory, charitable donations may be made to The Cross Cancer Institute of Alberta or to the charity of one's choice.
