In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HINDER, Roy Lionel - passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Hospital on August 22, 2007 with his wife Irene by his side. Born in Bristol, England May 05, 1930. A special thanks to the nurses on Floor #1 and Dr. H Bailey for their special care. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday August 29, 2007 at 1:00PM in the Lantzville Legion Branch 257. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund 401 - 495 Dunsmuir St. Nanaimo, BC, V9R 6B9 would be appreciated. Roy left the Navy during integration as a Petty Officer 1st Class Radar Plotter. After leaving the Navy he work for BC Ferries.
