Died: 10 Feb 1986, Nova Scotia

 

MOSHER, Paul Richard - Paul Richard Mosher, 66, Upper Kingsburg, died on Monday, February 10, 1986, at home.

 

Born in Rose Bay, he was the son of the late Warren and Carrie (Mossman) Mosher.

 

In his earlier years he served in the Merchant Marine and later with the Royal Canadian Navy.

 

He retired in 1980, after working 34 years with National Sea Products, Lunenburg, part of which time as a supervisor for quality control.

 

He was a member of Trinity United Church, Rose Bay, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 23, Lunenburg, the Board of Trade, Riverport, and he served on the executive for the Lunenburg Centre Liberal Association. He had special interests in hunting and fishing.

 

He is survived by his wife, the former Verlene Silver; a daughter, Judy (Mrs. Sherman Mitchell), Upper Kingsburg; a son, Jimmie, Upper Kingsburg; a brother, Maxwell, Lower Rose Bay; and four grandchildren.

 

He was predeceased by a brother, Fenwick.

A wedding of much interest in this vicinity was quietly solemnized at Lunenburg on Wednesday afternoon, August 12th by Dr. H.S.B. Strothard of Central United Church, when Miss Verlene Silver, daughter of Capt. and Mrs. Calvin Silver of Upper Kingsburg was united in marriage to Paul Mosher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Mosher of Lower Rose Bay. They are spending their honeymoon at Green Bay. Mr. Mosher is a member of the R.C.N.
