MOULTON, Robert Stanley (Rob) - of Dartmouth N.S. passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 26th 2023 at the Dartmouth General Hospital with his wife, Cathy, by his side following a long fight with Acute Myloid Lukemia. Bob was the gentlest, kindest, most unselfish and most supportive person. He treated everyone as he wished to be treated. Bob spent 12 years in the Canadian Navy. On retiring from the Navy Bob joined Air Canada and spent 25 plus years working a variety of jobs from radio, ticket agent and ended his career with Air Canada as a station agent. Following retirement from Air Canada Bob bought a tractor trailer and adopted a dog (Artie). The two of them went on the road logging in over one million miles accident free for which they received an award. They travelled to St. Johns' Newfoundland and Labrador, down south to Florida and many states in between. They also made trips out to Victoria, B.C., Los Angeles, Texas and many states and provinces between the west coast and east coast. After 15 years on the road Bob retired but continued to miss the road. Bob is survived by wife, Cathy of 41 years, sons Bob (Marliese) of Edmonton, Bill (Connie) of Montreal and Paul (Jackie) of Ottawa; Bob is also survived by 4 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 3 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson all of whom he loved very much. Many thanks to a tremendous crew of nurses, doctors and support staff at both Medical Day Unit at the Dixon Bldg in Halifax and the ICU staff at the DGH who went out of their way to accommodate us. Cremation has taken place and as per his wishes there will be no funeral service. (Atlantic Funeral Home - Dartmouth)
