CULL, Arnold Joseph - In Loving Memory of Arnold Joseph Cull 89 years Sunday, September 11th, 2011 at Extendicare Falconbridge. Beloved husband of Ida (Bennett) Cull predeceased and Gwendolyn (Waters) Cull of Sudbury. Proud father of Kevin (Patricia) of Cherrybrook, Nova Scotia. Dear stepfather of Judy (Bob), Barry, Michael (Susan) and Anne-Louise (Peter). Sadly missed by seven step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Dear son of Chris and Lillian Cull both predeceased. Dear brother of George, Lloyd and Cecil (Lauretta) all predeceased. Dear uncle of Diana (Al), Marilyn (Neil), Barbara (Larry) and Terry (Brian). Born in Cobalt, Arnold worked at Falconbridge Nickel Mine for 36 years, retiring as a Supervisor Work Study in 1977. He served with the Canadian Royal Navy 1942 to 1945. Arnold was an active and dedicated Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 336 Falconbridge, serving as Zone Commander 1956-1961. He received the Meritorious Service Medal in 1993 and the Palm Leaf in 1996. Arnold was an avid curler, loved golf and snooker and enjoyed a beer. He will be remembered as a quiet, kind gentleman, always proud of his son. At Arnold’s request there will be no public visitation. Memorial Service at the Falconbridge Royal Canadian Legion (at a later date).
