In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
CURZON, Peter Brenchley - passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023 in his 93rd year. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Garvock) Curzon, father of Kate and Lucy (Barbara Jane), and grandpa of Henry and Maisie. Predeceased by his parents Hilary and John (Jack), and his brother John. Peter graduated from Trinity College, University of Toronto and the University of Guelph. He then taught briefly at the Royal Military College of Canada. Eventually moving to Ottawa, Peter worked for the Treasury Board of Canada and the Department of Regional Economic Expansion, as well as serving as Commanding Officer of HMCS Carleton (NRD). Settling again in Toronto, he worked for General Foods Canada and served as aide-de-camp to various Lieutenant Governors of Ontario. In retirement, Peter loved to travel to Nova Scotia, as well as Italy and France; volunteer at Frontier College; attend UNTD Association of Canada events; and take Italian language lessons. Many thanks to Dr. Amanda Li and Dr. Gregory Young, and to his incredible nurses, care staff, and PSWs: Maricel, Irash, Bernardo, Atul, Jonathan, Maria, Eddie, Karen, and Marcia.
