In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
KAYE, Steven Wayne - Steven Wayne Kaye - passed away peacefully with his wife and children by his side at the Bridge Hospice, Warkworth on January 18, 2023 after a very quick secondary battle with cancer. Steve was born on February 12, 1961 in Belleville, Ontario to parents Dalton and Joan Kaye. Steve followed in his dads footsteps and joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served from 1981 to 1988 as a Leading Seaman (Stoker). His life of adventure started there and were some of the best years of his life. He was a very proud Veteran and made lifelong friendships and the stories he could tell (and some he couldn’t!). Steve is survived by his wife Karen and Children Stephanie (Jeff), Nicholas, Lawson (Chelsey), Erin (Evan) and Shannon (Brendan). Loving Poppa to Eli, Lily and Scarlett. Brother to the late Cindy (Dan), Greg (Carole) and Kerry (I. Frances). Special thanks to the compassionate and caring staff at the Bridge Hospice in Warkworth, Ontario.
