MOORE, Thomas I. (Tim) - Born in Verdun, Quebec, he grew up through the tough times of the Depression. He answered the call of his country and joined the Black Watch in 1941, a short time later transferring to the Navy. His wartime service, the proudest time of his life, was spent on board HMCS AGASSIZ escorting Britain’s lifeline of supply convoys across the North Atlantic. He married Enid V. Jubb in Manitoba in 1947, and soon returned to Montreal to work for the young Air Canada, retiring in 1977. He passed away at Montreal on November 1st, 1979, and is buried in Mount Royal Cemetery.
