In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
WENTZELL, Michael William - of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully in Halifax at the age of 62 on June 30th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
He is greatly missed by his wife Kathy, his mother Joan and brother Craig (Barbara). He was the cherished father to Adam (Jessica), Rebecca (Danny), and stepsons Matthew and Jonathan. Mike was the proud new grandfather to Tucker.
Mike was predeceased by his father Leigh and granddaughter Nora.
Mike proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy before his 20 year career with MBW Courier.
Anyone who knew Mike will know that he was a dedicated hockey and racing fan and loved caring for his devoted dog Brandi.
Special thanks go to the Palliative Care team at the QEII who took such great care of Mike and his family during this difficult time. Donations in memory may be made to QEII Health Sciences Palliative Care Unit.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. (Cole Harbour Funeral Home)
