CORKUM, Ralph William - 83, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2006, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born in Conquerall Bank, he was a son of the late Milton and Clara (Rafuse) Corkum. He was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater and Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 24, Bridgewater. Surviving are his wife, the former Grace (Carver); sisters, Mildred Everett, Newcombville; Elaine Knock, Hebbs Cross; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter in infancy; brother, Enos Corkum. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, where a public Legion tribute service will be at 7 p.m. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Ron Appleton officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. Donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or charity of choice. (The Halifax Herald, 12 Oct 2006)
