MORRIS, Arthur Edward Gerald - It is with great sadness that the family of Arthur Edward Gerald Morris, 76 of Lunenburg announce his passing on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg.

Born in Robinsons Corner, NL, he was a son of the late Phoebe Renough.

Dad was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy, after which he was a hard-working fisherman until his retirement. The sea and the beach were his most favorite places to be. The past five years were truly some of the best he ever had. Dad developed a complete and all encompassing love with his three daughters, especially his youngest, Jennifer, the trips to the beach, the drives and suppers he shared with his family became some of his most precious memories. The last two days of his life were spent reminiscing and sharing his most intimate thoughts! He was wrapped in the love of his daughters as they were wrapped in the warmth of his love. He died peacefully and at peace. He will suffer no longer! Dad may you run with those who went before you. Your love, your spirit and your mischievous smile will live on in our hearts. We love you Dad, no conditions attached. Rest in peace with Fairwinds and calm seas. Love you forever with all of our hearts.
