In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
MILLER, Clarence Leonard - age 76, of Dartmouth, passed away on April 28, 2023 in the Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Eriksdale, Manitoba, he was a son of the late Murt and Sigrum (Johannson) Miller.
Clarence served a full career as a Supply Tech in the Royal Canadian Navy. After retiring, he drove taxis for many years. He loved Star Trek and crossword puzzles and spending time with his family.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marion (McClean) Miller; sons, Michael, BC, Douglas, AB; daughter Charole, ON; grandchildren, Sasha, Sydney, Jessica, Jeffrey and Justin; 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Ricky (Linda), MB, Susan Cleary, AB; sisters-in-law Shannon Miller, MB and Bernadette (Paul) Pelrine, Gloria James, both of Halifax; brother-in-law Danny McClean and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his close friends Donny and Dave.
He was predeceased by his brother Stanley; infant daughter Angela.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 am on Thursday May 4th, immediately followed by the funeral service at 10am in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road Halifax, with a reception to follow. Burial in Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife.
