In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
LEWIS, Robert (Bob) - served in the Navy for three years during the Second World War. He married Winona (Nonie) Sheldon of Rosedale, BC and they had 5 children - Arthur, Robert, Joy, Lynne and Nancy. Bob and Nonie took over the Lewis family farm. Bob later worked as a toll clerk on the Rosedale Agassiz Bridge and worked there until the tolls were removed. He then transferred to the Corrections Institution at Haney. He died unexpectedly in 1969. (Source: "Our Families" by Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bustin and family - 1972)
