A son of Frank and Mary Parsons of Belleville, ON, Harry joined the RCNVR at HMCS CATARAQUI.
Harry's brother, OS John George Parsons, RCNVR, lost his life in the sinking of HMCS RACCOON during the Second World War.
Harry's brother, George J. Parsons also served in the RCNVR during the Second World War.
